This form is for university and pre-university students who want to pitch their business idea or existing venture at The Springboard on Monday, April 6, 2026.
Some applicants will be shortlisted to pitch live in front of a panel of judges including entrepreneurs, career experts, and mentors. Two winners will each receive ₦100,000 in seed funding for the business.
Eligibility:
You must be a university student or pre-university individual (e.g., gap year, A-levels, JUPEB, foundation programme) with a business idea or existing venture. Secondary school students are not eligible. You must also be registered to attend The Springboard physically.
How it works:
Applications close on March 23, 2026. All submissions will be reviewed and scored. The finalists will be selected and contacted with full guidelines on how to prepare.
On event day:
Each pitcher gets some minutes to present, followed by Q&A from the judging panel. Judges will score on clarity of vision, problem-solution fit, demonstrated commitment, passion and delivery, realistic next steps, and response to questions.
Important:
Be honest, specific, and detailed in your responses. Vague or generic answers will not score well. If you have a website, social media page, portfolio, or any supporting material, feel free to include the link, but it’s completely optional.
Completing this form does not guarantee a pitch slot.
